Sometimes meal planning can feel like an annoying chore. However, personalized recipes can help streamline the entire food shopping process. The WHATZ2EAT app is helping people eat and live better by simplifying the cooking experience. The app acts as your own personal sous chef in the kitchen by helping you cook with confidence. The primary catalyst for creating the WHATZ2EAT app was twofold;
First, modern recipes are dead.
The reason is they just don’t suit our modern lifestyles anymore. They need to be retranslated to fit how real people actually cook and use their food ingredients.
Second, recipes are incompatible with the way we typically eat.
Most cookbooks have about 125 recipes—but the average person only knows how to cook 5-6 different meals. Therefore, the recipes we do use have to be personalized based on our diet preferences, like’s and dislike’s, food sensitivities and what's in the pantry. Oh, and let’s not forget about time constraints, the size of the gathering, cooking skill levels and kitchen tools.
Few people actually use recipes Monday through Friday. Recipes were not designed for use by people who are busy and need to balance a million other things." When you use the WHATZ2EAT App we provide you with 5 personalized recipes at a time to choice from- meals that fit your busy lifestyle, the way you eat, and the ingredients you already have lying around and use on a regular basis.
We have come to realize, meals need to be diverse, flexible and responsive to your tastes and needs. What the consumer needs is a tool that can take the drudgery out of sourcing ingredients and matching them so they work in harmony, resulting in a delicious meal experience. Our App does this and more, a lot more.
In my opinion, “efficiency adds pleasure to the kitchen. We have enough recipes in the world, we don’t need new recipes. We need more sources of pleasure.”
